The Health Check feature is a helpful feature designed to give you peace of mind by ensuring that your Vault is healthy and your Jade devices are working perfectly. The Health Check consists of two parts; a Key Health Check and a Self Assessment.
Key Health Check
The Key Health Check verifies the functionality of your device and ensures that it is securing the correct key and is able to perform all the operations related to your Vault. This check will notify you if:
- Your device is broken
- Your device needs a firmware update
- The device is not able to operate your Vault
- Your device has been misplaced
Self-assessment
The self-assessment can help you identify any potential security issues related to your Vault. It’s an opportunity to catch any potential issues early on.
Performing a Health Check
To perform a Health Check, please follow the steps below:
- Plug in your Jade device.
- Please log into your Swan account.
- Click "View Vault".
- Click "Health Check".
- Follow the on-screen instructions and perform the required actions.
If the Health Check spots anything that needs attention, don't panic! These issues are usually solvable, and taking action right away is the best way to keep your Vault healthy and secure. If you need any help, our expert support team is always here to lend a hand. Please contact support.
