To withdraw Bitcoin from your Vault, you will need a minimum of one of your signing devices.
Vault clients have two options to transfer BTC out of their vault, full details below.
- Transfer to your Swan Account
- Transfer to a connected wallet
1) Transfer to your Swan Account
To transfer Bitcoin from your Vault and back to your Swan account follow the instructions below:
- Log into your Swan Account
- Click on “View Vault”
- Click “Transfer funds back to Swan”
- Enter the amount of Bitcoin you would like to transfer back
- Review the amount of transfer details
- Select your authorization method
- Authorize with Jade key + Swan key (recommended) or
- Authorize with two Jade keys
- Authorize the transaction by following the on-screen prompts and approve the transaction on your Jade device(s)
- Click “Confirm and Send”
Your transaction will be securely broadcasted to the Bitcoin network for processing. There is a 72-hour security hold before any transactions involving your Swan key are broadcast to the Bitcoin network. This acts as an additional safeguard. 2) Transfer to a connected wallet
- Log into your Swan Account
- Click on “View Vault”
- Click “Transfer funds to a connected wallet”
- Choose the wallet from your account (add it here).
- Enter the amount of Bitcoin you would like to transfer back
- Review the amount of transfer details
- Select your authorization method
- Authorize with Jade key + Swan key (Recommended) or
- Authorize with two Jade keys
- Authorize the transaction by following the on-screen prompts and approve the transaction on your Jade device(s)
- Click “Confirm and Send”
