Bank of America's (BoA) online wiring portal is tricky to use, so we have put together a walkthrough that will show you exactly how to wire funds from BoA to your Swan account.
1.) Sign in to your Bank of America bank account.
2.) Click the "Transfer/Zelle" tab and then select "To/From other banks (includes wires)"
3.) On the next page click "Add account/recipient"
4.) Choose the 4th option "A business account..." and enter the information from your Swan wiring form. (If you choose any other option, BofA will not send the wire). Select "checking account".
5.) After adding the new account, you should then be returned to the transfer form section. In this section, make sure to:
A.) Select your account in the "From" field
B.) Select "Same business day, $30 fee, Wire Transfer" under the "Delivery Speed". If you select anything else, your BofA will attempt to send an ACH instead of a Wire.
C.) Select the amount
D.) Select the frequency (One time, immediately)
Then hit continue and your wire should be sent and settled shortly thereafter by Swan.
The wire will usually settle into your account within 1 business day, and you will receive an automated email from Swan the minute it lands.
Wires sent after 1 PT on any day will likely settle the following business day. Wires are not processed on weekends and holidays. Neither Swan nor our custodian is responsible for delays in wire transfers.
